DC FanDome Review
This past week the DC universe gathered digitally for the exciting DC FanDome; a new digitial event aimed at fans of DC Comics, featured a host of panels, cosplay (at home off course), comic reveals and fan art. However conventions like this always father for one thing and one thing only…
Property reveals. And FanDome didn’t dissapoint with official confirmation of the infamous Snyder Cut of Justice League, first look at R Pats as Bruce Wayne, reveal that The Batflec will appear in the arrowverse and much more.
We break down the 3 key reveals at DC FanDome
The Batman
Let’s get straight to it, this writer was a little dissapointed with Robert Pattinson being chosen as the Caped Crusader, but we will give him time (I guess). The trailer looks fantastic has a classic dark Batman feel that Christopher Nolan bought to the franchise and Matt Reeves carries that on.
A few cheeky glimpses of Zoe Karvitz as Catwoman kept us guessing what else does this version of The Batman have in store for us. One small gripe with the trailer was RPats using the line “I’m Vengeance”, DC please don’t make us wait 10 years like Marvel did for Cap to drop his infamous line.
Wonder Woman: 1984
Delightfully 80s and capitalising on the trend of 80s throwback is the second instalment in Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. One of the key things I am looking forward to in WW84 is the performance by Kristen Wiig as the “bad guy”, she has played the comedic character in so many films before it will be hard to see passed that but in this trailer she stood out.
Expect stellar performance from Gadot and Pine as usual, added to the 80s vibe of the movie, it’s shaping up to be one of DCs top films of 2021
Snyder Cut - Justice League

The original Justice League came out in 2017 but rumours have always existed that original director Zack Snyder had finished the film before he stepped down following the death of his daughter. Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the film and get it released but it disappointing the fans and critics alike and everyone began clambering for the Snyder Cut.
HBO confirmed that the Snyder cut is coming to HBO Max in 2021 and will be delivered across 4 – 1 hour specials on the streaming service in the US. Yes thats right a 4 hour long cut of Justice League… you will certainly either love it or hate it.
