An officially licensed Transport For London art print produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Johnston Typeface used across the city's transport network to help passengers navigate their way around the capital. Originally comissioned in 1913 by the then commercial manager for the London Underground, Frank Pick, the tyepace took it's creator Edward Johnston 3 years to finish. It has been tweaked and digitised in more recent years but is still close to the original hand drawn design.
This is one of a collection of individual designs produced by different creative agencies to celebrate the centenary of the Johnston Typeface. Each print is produced at A1 size (59.4 x 84.1cm) on fine quality 230gsm art paper.
